About God's Precious Pearls
Due to life's trials, having been healed, nurtured, guided, shielded, and protected by the Holy Spirit, Rev. Pearl has been developed and cultured like the Pearl within the oyster by her Heavenly Father. These painful experiences have taught her much about GOD's undying love and wisdom. Her mission as He has commissioned her, is to share His love and freedom in Him to the Body of Christ and to lost souls. She has a passion for mentoring and imparting Godly wisdom to the younger women, teaching them to be daughters of the King. For those who are married, teaching them to be Godly wives, honoring their husbands, loving and nurturing their children, thus leaving memories and a lasting legacy, while making their homes a haven of rest and a place of comfort for all who enter.
Pearl is a Prophetic intercessor. She completely trusts the Holy Sprit to lead her as she goes into our Father's presence and to navigate her through life.
She enjoys studying God's Word and is the loving wife of Tom Friday and a mother to four married children and grandmother to her six wonderful grandchildren.
She also enjoys cooking, sewing, gardening, writing, and decorating her home thus making it a haven of rest to her loving family and all who enter.
Rev. Pearl also enjoys mentoring the younger women according to Titus 2. She is a spiritual mother (Mama Pearl) to many of God’s loving daughters, and Nana Pearl to her loving grandchildren.
About The Author
Pearlene, the second of five children, was raised in a Christian home in Jamaica, West Indies by loving parents who nurtured her in the ways of the Lord. She was born again at an early age and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1987.
Trained and educated as a registered nurse and midwife in Essex, England, she was recruited from London, by the Medical College of Virginia University Hospital, where she worked for many years. Three months after arriving in the United States, she met her husband, Tom. They have been happily married for 40 years and are the blessed parents of four married children which includes three sons (Christopher, Nicholas, and Jonathan), one daughter (Stephanie), three lovely grandsons (Thomas, Benjamin, and Fitzgerald), two precious granddaughters (Veda and Josephine), and a blessed step-grandson (Joshua). They are all Nana’s heart and joy.
Pearlene loves the Lord and enjoys reading and studying His Word, and she is learning daily to be still to listen to His gentle voice. She enjoys wonderful times of prayer and fellowship with Him. She is a prophetic intercessor, a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel, and a chaplain.
Having pursued studies in pastoral care, she has worked as a chaplain within the hospital. She is the founder of “God’s Precious Pearls” ministry, where she enjoys mentoring and teaching the Word of God, as well as encouraging and mentoring God’s daughters from her life’s experience, according to Titus 2. She is “Mama Pearl” to many young women and “Nana Pearl” to her precious grandchildren.
For relaxation she enjoys sewing, cooking, decorating her home, gardening, and writing. She places much emphasis in making her home a “Haven of Rest” for her family and all who enter, where they can experience an atmosphere of God’s peace and His love. She feels the body of Christ needs to be encouraged and strengthened daily.
